The Press Photographer's Year 2007

Once again we received over 6,000 entries for the 2007 awards. The jury spent two very long days working through them, both in slideshow form, and as 8x10 C-type prints, laid out on the huge Olivier foyer floor at the National Theatre. Unlike any other competition you could have entered in the UK, every one of your entries was shown to the jury as both projections and photographic prints.

A final edit of 133 photographs has been made and 12 prizes were awarded. What follows is that list and a web gallery of the complete edit that will feature in the book and exhibition. This is "The Press Photographer's Year 2007".
